Deputy chairmen have been appointed to the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Council of Elders (AAŞ).
Medianews.az reports that the chairman of the council, Member of the National Assembly Eldar Guliyev, has signed the relevant orders regarding this matter.
By the order, the chairman of the Parliament's Health Committee, academician Ahliman Amiraslanov, has been appointed as the first deputy chairman of the Azerbaijan Council of Elders.
Professor Eldar Ibrahimov, chairman of the National Assembly's Disciplinary Commission; deputy Agalar Valiyev; Bayram Yusifov, head of the "Ganjali" Production-Commercial Company and businessman; Vahid Novruzov, chairman of the Chamber of Auditors, doctor of economic sciences and professor; former deputy Tahir Suleymanov; and former rector of Baku State University, academician Abel Maharramov have been appointed as deputy chairmen of the AAŞ.
It should be recalled that the aforementioned individuals previously served as deputy chairmen of the Council of Elders. According to the institution's Charter, the leadership is reformed after the congress. The council's IX congress was held on April 23.
In accordance with the Charter, AAŞ chairman Eldar Guliyev has signed orders regarding the reappointment of the deputies. (Yeni Sabah)
