Azerbaijan's freestyle wrestler Yusif Abdullayev won the gold medal at the U15 European Championship held in Samokov, Bulgaria.
Medianews.az reports that our athlete competing in the 38 kg weight category faced Georgian representative Rezi Yobidze in the final.
Abdullayev won the decisive match with a full superiority of 10:0 over his opponent and earned the title of European champion.
It should be noted that Yusif also performed confidently on his way to the final. He defeated Ukrainian Ivan Vasilkov 10:0, Armenian representative Norayr Gevorgyan 11:0, and Belgian Muhammad Bisultanov 13:1.
