Starting from July 1, the sale price of "Bakı Kart" cards will be changed from 2 manats to 3 manats.

Medianews.az reports that this information was released by "Bakı Kart". 

It should be noted that "Bakı Kart" cards have been made available for passenger use since 2015, and during this period, no change has been made to the sale price of the card.

During this time, considering the increases in card production, technical service, logistics, and infrastructure costs, a price review has been conducted.

In recent years, digital payment options in public transport have been significantly expanded. Currently, passengers can make payments not only with BakıKart cards but also via bank cards, mobile devices using NFC technology, and through QR codes.

It was stated that no changes are planned regarding the card balance and fare prices. The change only applies to the sale price of newly obtained BakıKart cards.
