Today, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5 on the Richter scale occurred near the city of Sargez in Hormuzgan province, Iran.
According to the Seismology Center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the underground tremors were recorded at a depth of 22 kilometers at 00:38 local time in the morning.
It was reported that the earthquake was also felt in the city of Bandar Abbas.
Later, at 01:14, a second earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 occurred in the region.
