The National Hydrometeorology Service issued yellow and orange warnings regarding windy weather conditions expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on May 25, and in some regions from the 25th to the 27th.
According to the report given by the service to Medianews.az, northwest winds will blow in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Gazakh, Aghstafa, Tovuz, Shamkir, Ganja, Aghdam, Gadabay, Goygol, Samukh, Zardab, Sabirabad, Goychay, Imishli, Balakan, Zagatala, Gakh, Sheki, Oguz, Gabala, Ismayilli, Goychay, Aghdash, Shamakhi, Gobustan, Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz, Shabran, Siyazan, Khizi, Neftchala, Salyan, Saatli, Lerik, Yardimli, Jalilabad, Bilasuvar, Kalbajar, Lachin, Fuzuli, Beylagan, and Zangilan in accordance with the yellow warning, with wind speeds ranging from 13.9 to 20.7 m/s.
In Mingachevir, Barda, Tartar, Yevlakh, Naftalan, Goranboy, and Dashkasan, northwest winds will blow and intensify up to speeds of 20.8-28.4 m/s according to the orange warning.
