The procedure for determining a person's citizenship of Azerbaijan has been changed.
Medianews.az reports that in this regard, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a decree.
Thus, until the day the "Law on Citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan" came into force, the period of military service of servicemen serving in the military in Azerbaijan is accepted as the period of registration at the place of residence in Azerbaijan.
According to the decree, in this case, in addition to the local main departments, departments, divisions, and units of the State Service for Mobilization and Military Service Call-Up, a document issued by the State Security Service or the Foreign Intelligence Service of Azerbaijan indicating the period of military service will be attached to the inquiry.
