The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan has made amendments to the regulations on the state register of legal entities.
Medianews.az reports that the Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decision regarding this.
According to the decision, a new article was added to the "Rules for Maintaining, Using, and Protecting the State Register of Legal Entities." According to the amendment, it is required to notify the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan within 3 working days about the state registration of branches and representations of foreign media entities.
The document was adopted based on Article 119 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and in connection with the enactment of amendments to the law dated July 14, 2025.
