Today, the captain of an aircraft belonging to "Virgin Atlantic" requested an emergency landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport due to the sudden deterioration of the health condition of one of the passengers during the flight on the London–Delhi route.
It was reported from the international airport that the "Airbus A350" type aircraft successfully landed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport at 21:26 local time.
Immediately after landing, the passenger was promptly provided with initial medical assistance by the medical service. Necessary medical procedures regarding the passenger's condition are currently ongoing.
Heydar Aliyev International Airport ensured coordination with all relevant authorities in accordance with international aviation and security requirements.
