All participants of UEFA's club tournaments for the 2026-2027 season are known. 81 teams have been allowed in the Champions League, 45 in the Europa League, and 111 in the Conference League.
Medianews.az reports that England is represented by 9 teams this season, Spain by 8, Italy, Germany, and France by 7, the Netherlands by 6, and Portugal, Belgium, Czech Republic, Turkey, Norway, Greece, Austria, Scotland, and Poland by 5 teams each.
The quota for 33 UEFA members, including Azerbaijan, is 4 teams.
Northern Macedonia, Belarus, Andorra, Gibraltar, and San Marino have 3 spots each, and Liechtenstein has 1 spot.
Russia is excluded from the competitions.
There are four qualifying rounds in each of the three tournaments. Those eliminated in the first round of the Champions League will move to the Conference League; those eliminated in the remaining rounds will move to the Europa League; those eliminated in the Europa League qualifiers will jump to the Conference League.
According to the regulations, in the league stages consisting of 36 teams, the top 8 places will advance to the round of 16, and those placing 9th to 24th will advance to the round of 32.
