In Baku, flooding is observed in some areas due to intense rainfall.
Medianews.az reports that the Baku City Executive Power has issued a statement on this matter.
It has been noted that since the morning hours, the Baku City Executive Power, district executive authorities, and relevant economic structures have been operating in an intensified work regime.
It was stated that the rainfall, which exceeded the norm significantly during the day, caused overloading of the collector systems, resulting in difficulties in water removal in some areas.
According to the information, areas where flooding is observed are identified by monitoring groups and submitted to the Azerbaijan State Water Reserves Agency.
Work continues by the relevant authorities to eliminate the consequences of the rainfall.
