Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban told the famous "lion and mouse" tale from his country during a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin in October 2025.
Medianews.az reports that the Bloomberg agency released information citing the transcript of the conversation.
In the tale, the mouse saves the lion who has fallen into traps, because the "king of the animals" had once spared its life. Orban presented this story as a symbol of the relations between Moscow and Budapest.
The Prime Minister added: "Our friendship has reached such a high level that I am ready to help you on any matter."
