Singer Əminə Şirin has sparked extensive discussions on social networks with her statements.
The artist gave attention-grabbing remarks about parent-child relationships while guest appearing on host Tarix Əliyev's "YouTube" project.
Əminə Şirin stated that parents bear greater responsibility towards their children and that a person should not expect anything in return when bringing a child into the world:
"My mother has a very beautiful saying. She says that the child owes nothing to the parent, but the parent owes to the child. I agree with this. When you bring a child into the world, you should not expect that the child will take care of you when they grow up."
The singer added that the child's relationship with the parent depends on a person's fate and the behaviors they encounter in life:
"If the child takes care, that's good; if not, and they are ungrateful, then it is karma. I am a person who is reconciled with fate. If I have brought a child into this world, I must serve them until my last breath."
The artist also touched on the topic of kindness and intention in life, using interesting metaphors:
"A person has a right to their intentions towards another person. Everything in this world is interconnected in a chain. The sun warms people, not itself. The tree bears fruit, but does not eat its own fruit. The tree must make the fruit it gives you lawful (pure)."
Əminə Şirin's thoughts have elicited varied reactions on social media. Some followers supported the artist's ideas, while others expressed different views regarding parent and child relationships. /milli.az
