The detention period of Lieutenant Colonel Zaur Gülməmmədov, accused of cigarette smuggling, has been extended.
Medianews.az reports, citing "Qafqazinfo," that the court made this decision based on the prosecutor’s submission.
Z. Gülməmmədov’s detention period has been extended by another 3 months.
It should be noted that the lieutenant colonel was serving as the head of the Department of Coastal Guard of the State Border Service (SBS) at the time of the crime. He was arrested 4 months after his retirement.
