The Romanian Football Federation has officially announced that it has parted ways with the national team head coach, experienced specialist Mircea Lucescu.
Oxu.Az reports that this information was released by the federation's press service.
Recall that the Romanian national team, managed by the renowned specialist, had managed to qualify for the playoffs of WC-2026. However, in the decisive stage, the team lost 0:1 to the Turkish national team and had to cease their fight for the World Championship.
It should be noted that Mircea Lucescu’s second tenure with the national team was not as productive as before: during this period, the Romanian national team won 11 matches, drew once, and lost 6 matches.
