Intermittent rain is expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on the morning and daytime hours of May 8, with the possibility of short-term intensification of rain in some parts of the peninsula.
Medianews.az reports that this information was released by the National Hydrometeorology Service.
It was noted that weather conditions in Azerbaijan's regions are expected to be unstable in the last days of the first decade of May, with intermittent precipitation.
Specifically, on the 8th in some regions, and on the 9th and 10th mainly during the daytime hours, rainy weather is expected to continue in mountainous and foothill areas. In some places, precipitation will be intense, with thunder, hail, snow in mountainous areas, and on the 8th there is a possibility of somewhat intensified rain in some locations.
Due to the precipitation, an increase in water levels in the rivers is expected, and short-term floods in some mountain streams are not excluded.
