Medianews.az reports that on January 5, the official exchange rate of 100 Russian rubles in Azerbaijan was 2.1157 manat.

On January 22, the rate rose to 2.2139 manat.

On April 14, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan set the official exchange rate of 100 Russian rubles at 2.2320 manat, on April 30 at 2.2701 manat, on May 5 at 2.2836 manat, and on May 12 at 2.3056 manat.

On May 19, the rate increased to 2.3386 manat, and on May 20 to 2.3884 manat.

The rate on May 20 is the highest indicator for the ruble exchange rate in Azerbaijan in 2026.

The Russian ruble has also risen to its highest level against the dollar.

On May 12, 2026, the Central Bank of Russia set the official exchange rate of 1 dollar below 74 rubles for the first time since February 2023.

On May 19, the rate decreased slightly to 72.35 rubles.

On May 20, the Central Bank of Russia set the official exchange rate of 1 dollar at 71.2926 rubles.

Over the past year, the Russian currency has appreciated by approximately 10 percent against the dollar.

Overall, since the beginning of 2023, the official exchange rate of 1 dollar in Russia has never been this low, at 71.2926 rubles.
