An investigation is ongoing regarding an allegation of violence in the village of Qabaqtəpə in the Dashkasan district.
Medianews.az reports that the Prosecutor General's Office has issued a statement on this matter.
It was noted that in the mentioned village, in July of last year, an investigation was conducted by the Dashkasan district prosecutor's office regarding an allegation of violence by a person born in 2000 against a woman born in 1961.
At the scene, material evidence significant to the case was collected, necessary individuals were identified and their statements taken, and relevant expert examinations were ordered and opinions obtained.
A criminal case under Article 149.1 (rape) of the Criminal Code has been initiated based on the collected materials.
Currently, the preliminary investigation is continuing.
