He bought a car, returned it a day later – He/she/they could not get his/her/their money.
Orkhan Jalilov, who wants to buy a car, claims to have a problem with a company that provides rental and sales services.
Medianews.az reports that, according to him, he took a car on credit in October last year by making an initial payment of 2,800 manats. Although the company stated that the vehicle was in good condition, serious technical malfunctions were discovered after showing the car to a mechanic.
Jalilov said that when he wanted to return the car, the company demanded an additional service fee from him, and as a result, he could not get back the amount he had paid. He said he has receipts confirming the payments and the contract in his possession.
The company, however, denies the accusations. According to the official representative, the customer’s claims are unfounded, and on the contrary, the customer owes the company due to damage caused to the car.
Lawyer Mircavid Miriyev noted that there are several inconsistencies in the contract signed between the parties regarding the issue. According to him, if information about pre-existing defects in the car was not disclosed, the buyer has the right to cancel the contract and demand the return of the money paid.
Currently, the issue is under investigation by law enforcement agencies.//Milli.Az
