According to the information of the National Hydrometeorology Service as of 9:00 on April 6, unstable weather conditions continue across the country, with intense and heavy rain in some areas and snow in mountainous regions. The snow cover height is 1 meter 24 cm in Shahdag, 34 cm in Griz, 22 cm in Khinalig, and 3 cm in Gusar.

According to the information provided to Medianews.az by the National Hydrometeorology Service, the amount of precipitation recorded in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula from April 5-6 was 90 mm, which constitutes 390% of the monthly norm.

The amount of precipitation in Azerbaijan's regions: 94 mm in Khachmaz (311% of the monthly norm), 83 mm in Guba (174% of the monthly norm), 74 mm in Khaltan (109% of the monthly norm), 69 mm in Khizi (95% of the monthly norm), 69 mm in Gusar (144% of the monthly norm), 63 mm in Shabran (209% of the monthly norm), 23 mm in Gadabay, 22 mm in Shaki (Kishchay), 22 mm in Gakh (Sarybash), 19 mm in Dashkasan, 18 mm in Oghuz, 17 mm in Shamkir, 16 mm in Zaqatala, 13 mm in Balakan and Gabala, 12 mm in Gobustan, 10 mm in Lerik and Shamakhi, 8 mm in Ismayilli, Neftchala, and Goranboy, 7 mm in Barda, 6 mm in Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Aghdam, and Naftalan, 4 mm in Shahbuz, Aghstafa, Bilasuvar, Astara, and Tovuz, 3 mm in Yardimli, 2 mm in Ganja, Goychay, Zardab, and Tartar, and 1 mm in Imishli, Beylagan, Kurdamir, Sabirabad, Salyan, Sharur, Ordubad, Sadarak, Nakhchivan, Fuzuli, Kalbajar, Khankendi, Khojaly, Lachin, Qubadli, and Shusha.

In some places, a northwest wind is blowing, with a maximum speed reaching up to 24 m/s in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, 20 m/s in Shabran, and 18 m/s in Ganja and Dashkasan.

The observed unstable weather conditions are expected to continue until the evening of April 6 in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, and until the evening of April 7 in the regions of Azerbaijan.
