Banu Kalender, one of the well-known performers of Turkish art music, has passed away.
Medianews.az, referring to “Yeni Sabah,” reports that the singer had been battling cancer for some time and was receiving treatment in the oncology department.
According to information, the artist, whose condition suddenly worsened at home on April 26, passed away today at the hospital where she was taken for examination.
It is noted that the late artist was also known as the spiritual daughter of the famous singer Adnan Şenses.
It has been learned that Banu Kalender was quietly buried a few days ago next to her father in the family cemetery located in Kartal.
