Warning from the dietitian: Pay attention to this when buying butter

It is important to pay attention to the fat content when buying butter.

Experts believe that the fat percentage in the composition of the butter is one of the main indicators for selecting a higher quality product.

Dietitian and endocrinologist Anton Polyakov stated that the daily consumption of butter should not exceed 25 grams.

According to him, when choosing in stores, it is advisable to prefer butter with 82.5 percent fat content. The specialist does not recommend selecting products with 72 percent or lower fat content:

"Butters are mainly divided into three categories: "Village" butter (72.5 percent), "Amateur" butter (80 percent), and "Traditional" butter (82.5 percent). The latter has a denser structure, a rich creamy taste, and contains less water."

Additionally, the doctor advises some people to limit their use of butter. Those who have problems with obesity and excess weight, suffer from cardiovascular diseases, have high cholesterol levels, as well as liver and gallbladder diseases should use this product with caution. /BAKU.WS
