The world's second fastest train has been made.

South Korea has developed the main technologies of its new EMU-370 high-speed train, which can reach speeds of 370 km/h.

The production of the first carriages will begin next year, and trial operations will start in 2030. Commercial operation is planned to begin after 2031.

It is noted that after it is put into commercial service, the EMU-370 will be the second fastest in the world. Currently, the Chinese-made CR450, which is undergoing trials at a speed of 400 km/h and is planned to be launched in 2027, holds the first place.

For comparison, the maximum speed of existing high-speed trains operating in countries such as France, Germany, and Japan is about 320 km/h. (Oxu.Az)
