As we reported, an armed incident occurred this morning in front of Idrak Lyceum located in Baku.
Medianews.az states that Idrak Lyceum is a private educational institution operating with the license of the Ministry of Education.
The lyceum was first established in 2008 in the city of Sumqayit by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Mönsüm Alışov.
In 2014, the Baku branch of the lyceum started operating.
The building of Idrak Lyceum in the capital is located in the Binagadi district, on Ziya Bünyadov street.
General secondary education at Idrak Lyceum consists of 3 levels – primary, general secondary, and complete secondary education. At the same time, preschool education is taught at the lyceum. Teaching is organized in 3 languages – Azerbaijani, Russian, and English (IB-International Baccalaureate) programs.
According to the information posted on the lyceum’s website, the lyceum is continuously guarded by employees of a company responsible for security, and the entry of outsiders to the building is prohibited.
