The first impact of the conflict in the Middle East is already being felt in automobile transportation. In particular, there is an increased risk of delay in cars and spare parts that should be brought to our country via the Gulf direction. This means that cars ordered through Dubai may be delivered later than the usual time.
Khazar TV reports that in some cases the same problem may occur with cars coming from South Korea but routed through the Gulf line.
Expert Eldeniz Jafarov says that currently it is mostly about loss of time and increased transportation costs. In other words, the problem in the car market may initially manifest as the car arriving late, and later as an increase in the cost price. The highest risk is seen in the segment of second-hand SUVs and off-road vehicles since a part of these types of cars are brought into the country precisely through Dubai and the Gulf.
In other words, the main risk for the buyer now is the delayed delivery of the car. If the process is prolonged, this delay may later turn into a price increase.
