Pashinyan's condition regarding the EU has announced

The referendum on Armenia's membership in the European Union (EU) will be held after the country officially applies to the union.

Medianews.az reports that this was stated by Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"Let it be understood: there is no topic for a referendum until Armenia makes a real application to the EU to become a full member. There will be no referendum until this happens. As soon as this happens, a referendum will be held," the politician said.

According to information, on June 2, Vyacheslav Volodin stated that Armenia's course to exit the EAEU and join the EU could have serious economic consequences for the country. According to him, in this case, gas prices could sharply increase, and money transfers from Russia might decrease.

It should be noted that on May 29, Vladimir Putin also said that Armenia's possible exit from the EAEU could result in the loss of trade preferences, an increase in energy prices, and changes in the conditions of labor activity in Russia. //Bakues.az
