“There are lucky and unlucky actors on the Azerbaijani stage. There are actors who are talented but have been left out for years. But I consider myself a lucky actor. I was just starting to work in theater. At that time, there was the famous 'Karvan' group. I appeared in their music video. It was one of the first music videos filmed at that time. The video became popular in a short time. Back then, there was also a channel. After that, I acted in the television play 'Yarımştat.' This play brought me great success. Recently, the 30th anniversary of 'Yarımştat' was celebrated. Afaq Bəşirqızı, Naibə Allahverdiyeva, and I are the only surviving individuals from that television work. May God have mercy on all those actors. An actor cannot do anything alone. Our work depends on directors. They filmed me once, and that was it; it doesn’t work that way. Invitations to roles must come continuously so that the actor can stay current with good works.”

He later stated that years ago he was a victim of fraud: “The unlucky part of me has been in my personal life. At that time they were building an apartment building, it was 1993. I thought I had just started a new family life and decided to buy a home. I borrowed and spent money, took money from relatives and gave it away. I got into a lot of debt but encountered fraud. The apartment was taken away from me. Then I wanted to buy land, my money was lost, I was deceived. In my personal life, my problems have only been related to housing. I trust people easily. Because of this, I have faced many troubles. For many years I lived in rentals because of it. Then my mother-in-law sold her own house and bought two houses. She gave one to us. She said it's her daughter's family. Now I live in a yard house in Yasamal. I want to marry off my son, but there is no house for him to start a family. I live in a two-room apartment. I want to look for houses again, but I am afraid. My head has suffered a lot because of this issue. I suffered about 200 thousand manat in losses in terms of the money value of that time. That building is now built in Yeni Yasamal.”
