US President Donald Trump sharply questioned the legitimacy and current status of Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei in his latest interview with journalists. The White House chief emphasized that Mojtaba Khamenei's current whereabouts are unknown, he is not seen anywhere, and he is effectively incapable of making decisions, stating, "He is untouchable, no one knows what happened to him, I do not consider him a leader."
Medianews.az Reports citing Musavat.com state that Trump's speech also included important details regarding the nuclear deal. He said there are approximately 15 points of agreement with Tehran, with the first three points on this list concerning Iran never possessing nuclear weapons. According to the president, the Iranian side has already agreed to these conditions.
Touching on Iran's energy resources and infrastructure, Trump expressed his desire for as much oil as possible to be in the system and noted that the modest amount Iran earns from these sales would not affect the course of the war. In response to journalists comparing the strikes on Iran's power plants to Russia's actions in Ukraine, he emphasized that these two situations are completely different. Finally, recalling that Iran's nuclear facilities were destroyed last summer, Trump added that they are vigilant against the risk of those sites being re-excavated and restored with appropriate equipment and absolutely will not allow it.
