The upcoming holidays for schoolchildren in Azerbaijan have been announced.
Medianews.az reports that several official holidays and non-working days await students in general education institutions during May and June. According to the information, in addition to separate rest days for primary school students during this period, there will also be non-working days dedicated to holidays.
Holidays and non-working days in May:
• May 1-5 – Spring break for primary school students
• May 9 – Victory Day over Fascism
• May 26-27 – Eid al-Adha holiday
• May 28 – Independence Day
During these dates, the educational process will be paused and official rest days will be provided for students.
In June:
• June 12 – “Last bell” ceremony will be held in secondary schools. Traditionally, no classes are held on this day.
It should be noted that after the listed dates, the schoolchildren await the final official holidays of this academic year.
