Azerbaijani athlete Tahir Abdullayev (21-3) has signed a contract with the UFC organization and will participate in the UFC FIGHT NIGHT: FIZIEV vs TORRES event.
Medianews.az reports that his opponent in the middleweight division will be Brazilian Ceferson Nascimento.
Tahir Abdullayev has become the fifth Azerbaijani fighter to sign a contract with the UFC.
UFC FIGHT NIGHT: FIZIEV vs TORRES event will take place on June 27 at the National Gymnastics Arena.
In the main fight of the night, Azerbaijani representative Rafael Fiziev will face Manuel Torres in the lightweight division.
In the co-main event, middleweight Sharabutdin “Shara Bullet” Magomedov will fight Michel Pereira.
Within the framework of the event, two more Azerbaijani fighters - Nazim Sadikhov and Farman Hasanov will also step into the octagon.
Their opponents will be Brazilian Mateus Camilo and American Erik Nolan, respectively.
