Turkey's famous singer Ajda Pekkan dined at one of the luxury restaurants located in the Yeşilköy district of Istanbul.
Medianews.az reports that the 80-year-old artist ordered "brisket" (beef breast) cooked for 12 hours with a special method using oak smoke.
It was reported that after the meal Ajda Pekkan paid a bill of 43,000 lira (approximately 1590 manat) at the restaurant. The high amount quickly sparked extensive discussions on social media.
Users discussed the expensive bill both in terms of the restaurant prices and the labor involved in preparing the food.
