The head of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Dana White, has announced to the public the amount of bonuses that the participants of the tournament to be held at the White House will receive.
Medianews.az reports that the broadcast of the press conference has been posted on the organization’s official "YouTube" channel.
"Each of the athletes who demonstrate the best fight of the night will receive a bonus of 400,000 US dollars. The two fighters remembered for the best performance will receive a prize of 425,000 dollars. I congratulate everyone and wish them success," Dana White emphasized.
The competition at the White House will take place on the night of June 14 to 15 – on the 80th birthday of US President Donald Trump.
The main fight of the night will be held in the lightweight category between the current champion Ilia Topuria and the interim title holder Justin Gaethje.
In the heavyweight division, the temporary championship belt will be contested by Frenchman Ciryl Gane and Brazilian Alex Pereira (currently the champion in this category is Briton Tom Aspinall). Additionally, the tournament will feature fights Sean O’Malley vs. Ayman Zahabi, Josh Hawkes vs. Derrick Lewis, Mauricio Ruufi vs. Michael Chandler, Bo Nickal vs. Kyle Docus, Diego Lopes vs. Steve Garcia. //Oxu.Az
