On March 4, the barrel of Azerbaijani oil branded "AzeriLight" is sold for 86.16 dollars.
Medianews.az reports that this is 21.16 dollars higher than what was planned in the state budget.
In Azerbaijan's 2026 budget, the price per barrel of oil was taken as 65 dollars; "AzeriLight" began January at 65.71, February at 69.72, and March at 79.60 dollars.
Oil prices are sharply increasing due to obstacles in transportation caused by military operations carried out by the USA and Israel against Iran since February 28.
The exporters' international coalition has set the daily crude oil production quota for Azerbaijan at 551 thousand barrels.
