Azerbaijani oil is sold 40 dollars more expensive than the budget price.

On March 13, the barrel of Azerbaijani oil branded "AzeriLight" is being sold for 105.58 dollars.

Medianews.az reports that this is 40.50 dollars above the price planned in the budget.

In Azerbaijan's 2026 budget, one barrel of oil is priced at 65 dollars.

"AzeriLight" started January at 65.71, February at 69.72, and March at 79.60 dollars.

The price of oil has rapidly increased amid the wave of military operations conducted by the US and Israel against Iran since February 28.

The international coalition of exporters has set Azerbaijan's daily crude oil production norm at 551 thousand barrels.
