According to the report of the State Statistics Committee, in January, consumer prices in Azerbaijan increased by 5.7 percent compared to the first month of 2025; food products, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products increased by 7.1 percent, non-food products by 3.5 percent, and paid services by 5.6 percent.
It is reported that the average monthly nominal wage of salaried employees reached 1102.9 manats as of January 1.
According to another official data, in the first month of 2026, there was a 75.6 percent growth in investments and a 2.5 percent increase in industrial production.
