In January-March of this year, 65.476 million manat in insurance premiums were collected in Azerbaijan through compulsory insurance types.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this is 25.7 million manat or 28.2% less compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, payments for compulsory insurance types increased by 8.2 million manat or 27.4%, reaching 38.137 million manat.
Thus, in January-March of this year, 58.2 manat was paid back to customers for every 100 manat in insurance premiums collected in the voluntary insurance market.
It should be noted that through insurance companies operating in Azerbaijan in January-March of this year, insurance premiums totaling 417.753 million manat were collected. According to the information, this is 18.7 million manat or 4.7% more compared to the indicators for the corresponding period of last year.
The volume of insurance payments during the reporting period amounted to 218.456 million manat. According to the data, this is 54.4 million manat or 33.2% more compared to the indicators for the corresponding period of last year.//Trend
