"This year, two higher education institutions in Azerbaijan will obtain the status of research universities."
Oxu.Az reports that these statements were made by Firudin Gurbanov, Deputy Minister of Science and Education, at the General Assembly of ANAS.
He noted that there is a relevant decision from the Cabinet of Ministers regarding this matter:
"As a ministry, we also approach this issue seriously and have further tightened our regulations."
