Baku-Tbilisi-Baku: this many tickets were sold in less than a day - OFFICIAL

More than 1000 tickets have been sold in a short time for the Baku-Tbilisi-Baku route.

Information was provided to Medianews.az by "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC.

The information states that in total, more than 400 tickets were sold from Baku and more than 500 from Tbilisi.

Currently, considering the high demand for ticket purchases, an additional wagon has been added to the first train departing from Baku.

Let us remind that ticket sales started in the second half of May 21. That is, more than 1000 tickets were sold in less than a day.

Ticket prices to Tbilisi start from 81 manat for the comfort class, 117 manat for the comfort+ class, and 180 manat for the luxury class when departing from Baku; from Yevlakh they start at 67 manat for comfort class, 94 manat for comfort+ class, and 144 manat for luxury class; from Ganja they start at 62 manat for comfort class, 86 manat for comfort+ class, and 132 manat for luxury class; from Aghstafa they start at 57 manat for comfort class, 78 manat for comfort+ class, and 120 manat for luxury class.

The starting price of a ticket on the Boyuk Kesik-Gardabani route is 51 manat for comfort class, 68 manat for comfort+ class, and 102 manat for luxury class.

"Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC emphasizes that due to the high demand for tickets on the Baku-Tbilisi-Baku route, certain delays are being observed in the ticket sales system and at ticket offices.

Trains on this route will start operating from Baku on May 25 and from Tbilisi on May 26.
