From the National Hydrometeorology Service, it was reported to Medianews.az that currently, intensive and heavy rain is falling in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula. The amount of precipitation recorded is 58 mm, which constitutes 247 percent of the monthly norm.
Precipitation is expected to continue throughout the day on March 28, with some areas experiencing intense rainfall. Due to the expected heavy rains in various parts of the peninsula, flooding is expected to continue in some areas. From the daytime hours of March 29, precipitation will gradually cease.
