Rain in some places, snow has fallen on Shahdag - ACTUAL WEATHER

The actual weather conditions as of 10:00 on June 7 have been announced.

According to the information given to Medianews.az by the National Hydrometeorological Service, rainy weather conditions are observed throughout the country; there are occasional lightning flashes in some places, and intermittent rain. The precipitation has been intense and heavy in certain areas, and there has been snowfall on Shahdag.

The snow depth on Shahdag is 1 cm.

The amount of precipitation in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula was 6 mm, which constitutes 60% of the monthly norm.

The amount of precipitation recorded in the territory of the Republic is as follows: 53 mm in Oghuz (44% of the monthly norm), 46 mm in Shaki (45% of the monthly norm), 45 mm in Gabala (40% of the monthly norm), 37 mm in Zagatala (29% of the monthly norm), 33 mm in Goygol (27% of the monthly norm), 33 mm in Khalat (36% of the monthly norm), 31 mm in Balakan (24% of the monthly norm), 25 mm in Khinalug (53% of the monthly norm), 24 mm on Shahdag (51% of the monthly norm), 24 mm in Gryz (26% of the monthly norm), 22 mm in Gadabay, 20 mm in Dashkasan, 12 mm in Qusar (Lezha), 10 mm in Guba, 8 mm in Gakh (Sarybash), 6 mm in Shahbuz, Julfa, Astara, Shabran, Ismayilli, 5 mm in Zardab, 4 mm in Aghdam, 3 mm in Khachmaz, Altiagaj, Naftalan, Lerik, 2 mm in Tartar, Kurdamir, Sabirabad, Bilasuvar, Gobustan, Mingachevir, Goranboy, and up to 1 mm in Kalbajar, Lachin, Gubadli, Shusha, Khankendi, Khojaly, Fuzuli, Ganja, Nakhchivan, Sadarak, Shamkir, Tovuz, Shamakhi, Barda, Beylagan, Yevlakh, Goychay, Beylagan, Imishli, Neftchala, Agsu, Yardimli, and Salyan.

On June 6, from approximately 20:15 to 20:22, hail with a diameter of 9 mm fell in the Zagatala area; at around 14:30, hail fell in the village of Goyebakhan in the Tovuz district, and at around 20:56, hail fell in the village of Novosatovka in Gadabay.

Fog is observed in Lerik, Balakan, and Gryz. Visibility in the fog is limited to up to 500 meters.

The maximum air temperature was observed to be up to 29°C in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, 33°C in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, 31°C in the Aran regions, and up to 20°C in the mountainous regions.
