Starting from May 6, the admission of students to the first grades of general education institutions for the 2026–2027 academic year will begin.

It has been stated that the admission process www.mektebeqebul.edu.az portal will be used to carry out the process. The electronic admission of children to the first grade covers all general education institutions in all cities and districts of the country.
It should be noted that this year, nearly 81,000 children from the Azerbaijani section have automatically advanced from the preparatory group to the first grade.
It is emphasized that having a personal identification document is mandatory for children during the registration for the first grade.
Ensuring accessibility for every parent in their child's school admission is among the primary goals.
