British actor Jon Elford (real surname Shannon) died two months after being imprisoned.
Medianews.az reports that "The Guardian" newspaper published this information citing the UK Prison Service.
The artist was 54 years old. He was convicted in January of this year for sexual acts against a 14-year-old girl, as well as sexual violence and sexually violent acts against a 15-year-old girl (all events occurred in 2022).
According to the publication, J. Elford died on March 13 at the "HMP Bure" prison in Norfolk county. It is noted that the prison service did not disclose the cause of death./Oxu.Az
