A new record has been set in Dagestan regarding the amount of precipitation.
Medianews.az reports, citing “Qafqazinfo,” that over 50 millimeters of precipitation fell in the region within 24 hours, surpassing the historic maximum recorded in March 1919.
As a result, rivers overflowed, roads were flooded, and cars remained submerged in the streets.
Additionally, due to adverse weather conditions, 132 villages were left without electricity.
