The Ministry of Internal Affairs has made an appeal to the residents of the liberated territories and visitors there in connection with the holiday.
Medianews.az reports that the appeal states:
“Dear compatriots and foreign guests of our country who celebrate Novruz and the holy Ramadan holidays in Karabakh, and who visit the liberated territories during the holidays!
In order for the holiday days to pass in a festive mood and under peaceful conditions, police officers are working in an enhanced mode and are taking all necessary measures to ensure security. Citizens, by behaving responsibly, can further strengthen this stability.
It is essential to register in advance on the relevant portal to travel freely and without obstacles to Karabakh. Persons traveling by private cars should not deviate from the designated routes.
Furthermore, bringing flammable and explosive materials to the area is strictly prohibited. Citizens are advised to go only to places intended for recreation.
Thus, avoiding even the smallest incidents that could cause public unrest in the charming corners of Karabakh and demonstrating exemplary behavior is the civic duty of each of us. We hope that the holiday bonfires will take away all the negatives and leave behind days filled with happiness, love, and peace. Happy holidays to you!”
