Operations against the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs were conducted by the officers of the Absheron District Police Department.
Information about this was provided to Medianews.az by the Ministry of Internal Affairs' press service.
It was reported that during the operations, from Orkhan Aliyev, who had a prior conviction, 3 kg 700 grams of heroin and methamphetamine were seized; from Elchin Mehdiyev, 5 kg 843 grams of marijuana, heroin, methamphetamine, as well as 100 methadone pills; from Emil Abdullayev, 2 kg 150 grams of heroin; from Gulzada Aliyeva, 2 kg 200 grams of heroin and methamphetamine; and from Mehdi Rzayev, Qahir Garayev, and Parvana Safarov, a total of 2 kg 763 grams of marijuana, heroin, and methamphetamine were discovered.
As a result of the operations, more than 16 kilograms of narcotic drugs were taken out of illegal circulation.
