People's Artist Emin Agalarov recently bought a new plot of land in Azerbaijan.
Medianews.az reports that the artist spoke about this on journalist Kseniya Sobchak's show. He stated that he bought an area belonging to his neighbor for 3 million dollars (approximately 5 million 100 thousand manats). Agalarov noted that the reason was the noise in the neighborhood:
“My neighbor in the old 'Sea Breeze' area had a half-constructed building and had brought about 20 dogs there. The dogs were constantly barking. I regularly have guests and there are festivals and restaurant events held there. This situation was very disturbing to me. After eight years of negotiations, I paid 3 million dollars for 30 sot of land. This is even more expensive than prices in Barvikha (an elite residential area located in the Moscow region).”
Emin also stated that he currently owns more than 900 plots of land in Azerbaijan.
