In January, a 3.8 percent price increase was recorded in the consumer market of Armenia compared to the first month of 2025.
According to Medianews.az, the Statistics Committee reports a 9 percent price increase in alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, 8.3 percent in education, 5.9 percent in food and non-alcoholic beverages, 4.3 percent in transportation, 3.2 percent in public catering and hotel services, 3 percent in the healthcare sector, 0.7 percent in household goods and appliances, 0.5 percent in communications, 0.3 percent in clothing and footwear, and 0.2 percent in recreation and cultural services.
According to the official report, communal services have become 0.1 percent cheaper.
