A New Year tree caught fire in the city of Gardabani, Georgia.
"Qafqazinfo" reports, citing foreign media, that the incident occurred during the ceremonial lighting of the New Year tree lights.
The flame engulfed the entire tree within a few seconds. As a result of the strong fire, the New Year tree completely burned to ashes in front of the gathered crowd.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
It is noted that last year, the New Year tree installed in Gardabani was toppled by the wind.
