It is claimed that the tension between the US, Israel, and Iran could end by the Nowruz holiday, which falls on March 21.
Medianews.az reports, citing a statement from Rahim Safavi, the assistant and chief advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, as reported by the Iranian Students News Agency.
According to him, the US and Israel do not have the capacity to wage a long-term war, and therefore it is possible that the confrontation will end before Nowruz.
It should be recalled that on February 28, Israel Katz announced that the Israel Defense Forces had carried out a pre-emptive strike against Iran. Later, Donald Trump stated that the US was also involved in the military operations.
In response, Iran launched dozens of ballistic missiles at Israeli territory. The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the attacks, air raid sirens were sounded in the country as a warning, and air defense systems were activated.
On March 1, claims spread that Iran's supreme religious leader Ali Khamenei had been killed during the attacks.
At the same time, Iran launched missile strikes on some neighboring countries where US military bases are located. Amid the events, the airspace of many of these countries was temporarily closed./Milli.Az
