A traffic accident resulting in death occurred in Masalli.
Medianews.az reports that the incident was recorded in the evening hours on the Masalli-Yardimli road, in the territory of the Erkivan settlement of Masalli district.
It is reported that Rusif Babayev, 31 years old, a resident of the Erkivan settlement, while driving a "Mercedes" car, collided with another "Mercedes" car driven by Nikbin Feyzullayev, a resident of Jalilabad district.
As a result of the collision, the car driven by Rusif Babayev went off the road and first hit a concrete electric pole, then collided with a tree. Due to the impact, the concrete electric pole shattered into several pieces.
As a result of the accident, the driver Rusif Babayev died at the scene. Passengers in the vehicle were hospitalized at Masalli District Central Hospital with the help of emergency medical teams.
The injured are residents of the Erkivan settlement: Parvin Aliyyaz oglu Hasanov, 33 years old, Farid Farahim oglu Qasimov, 23 years old, and Araz Telman oglu Mammadzada, 34 years old.
Despite the efforts of the doctors, it was not possible to save the life of Araz Mammadzada. Thus, the number of deaths from the accident reached two.
The bodies were handed over to the relevant authorities. Treatment of the injured continues in the relevant departments of the hospital.
An investigation is underway regarding the incident.
