According to the official report, 2.3 million tons of oil were produced in Azerbaijan in January 2026, including condensate.
Medianews.az reports that similar production was 44.5 million tons in 2008, 50.4 million tons in 2009, 50.8 million tons in 2010, 45.6 million tons in 2011, 43.4 million tons in 2012, 43.5 million tons in 2013, 42 million tons in 2014, 41.6 million tons in 2015, 41 million tons in 2016, 38.7 million tons in 2017, 38.8 million tons in 2018, 37.4 million tons in 2019, 34.5 million tons in 2020, 34.6 million tons in 2021, 32.6 million tons in 2022, 30.2 million tons in 2023, 29.1 million tons in 2024, and 27.7 million tons in 2025.
In Azerbaijan's 2026 budget, the price of one barrel of oil was taken as 65 dollars; Azerbaijani oil of the "AzeriLight" brand started January at 65.71 and February at 69.72 dollars.
The international coalition of exporters has set the daily crude oil production quota for Azerbaijan at 551 thousand barrels. In January, crude oil and crude oil products worth 1.2 billion dollars were exported from the country.
